Steve's funky version of Pomp & Circumstance, March No. 1 (Trio Section) by Sir Edward Elgar. This isn’t your grandma’s graduation march. He's taken Elgar’s iconic anthem, given it a brass-fueled boost, slapped on some syncopated swagger, and launched it straight into the funk stratosphere. Big band horns, driving grooves, and high-octane energy transform this classic into a celebratory throwdown. It’s regal, it’s rowdy, and it’s ready to groove.

Wise Guy
  • Wise Guy

Wise Guy features the main melody in the saxes and shifting syncopations in the brass. As the name suggests, the syncopations and the meter change are a bit tricky. Exciting shout section. G minor blues solos in tenor 1 and trumpet 3, and could be opened for more. Wise Guy is a sure crowd pleaser!
