MOJO (MiraCosta Oceanside Jazz Orchestra) was one of two California Community College Jazz Ensembles selected to perform at the Jazz Education Network Conference in January, 2015. Steve also presented a clinic demonstrating an alternative lecture model for the jazz history course. The featured lecture was The Music of Wayne Shorter (1959-1967). It included the MiraCosta Jazz Collective performing live examples of his works.
The Dan Siegel / Steve Torok project also performed along with MiraCosta faculty Bob Boss and Justin Grinnell.
